Apparently Coachella is really really clean and there are designated drinking points and ID is a must for everyone, overage or not. Hardly Glastonbury, but I still want a ticket, not least because the weather is pretty much guaranteed and I would actually get to wear something that is not wellies and a rain mac.

In other news it has been warm enough here to pull out the cycling shorts and I think they might be my most worn item this summer.

SPRING SPRUNG
After a touch-and-go moment where I thought my laptop had gone to sleep never to wake up, it is now in full working order. Its return however coincided with the start of summertime and I've since lost touch with the internet in favour of hanging out on my balcony and other sun worshipping pursuits. Normal service will resume. If nothing else, the sudden change in temperature has revealed a gap in my wardrobe and I am now in pursuit of the perfect summer jacket.

CRASH
The front cover of Crash magazine caught my eye in Borders today. (Incidently it was the only magazine that caught my eye, are the monthlies later than usual?).
I usually think Emma Watson looks either too safe or like her clothes are wearing her, but I love the styling in this editorial. She comes across really well in the article too.

RAMBO
I've been quite a fan of the 'rambo band' or whatever you want to call it, but I'm not sure how it's going to work out with the new fringe. I envisage some kind of stuck to the forehead type affair, not attractive. Urban Outfitters has a cute one with peacock feathers at the moment for a bargainous (not really) 14 quid, possible DIY in the making?
Or failing that, animal ears?
