SIMON ANNAND: THE HALF

Wow where does the time go? I can't believe it was two weeks ago today that I attended the Simon Annand Private View and I'm only just getting round to writing about it.

Theatre photographer Simon Annand, has for more than 25 years had the privilege of going backstage in London's West End theatres and shooting actors during the last half an hour before curtain up. His images which feature some of the world's best known actors, capture a private moment that is never usually shared. The exhibition showcases images from his book The Half as well as some never before seen work.

Some of my favourite images were of Cate Blanchett, a young Colin Firth (he hasn't changed a bit!), as well as Daniel Radcliffe below.
