THOSE BOOTS

I keep justifying purchases by calling them 'investment pieces' but these boots really are that. I wear them 6 days out of 7, I've forgotten what it feels like to wear heels.



In other money related news I tried to make £20 last the weekend but I should have known I was doomed when my sister and Mum asked me to join them at Westfield. Still I turned down the MANY things I saw and only came away with one £14.99 uniqlo mens checked shirt which I am going to attempt to stud. (My other way of justifying purchases is "this will be great for a DIY!")

Next investment piece is this acid wash playsuit which I was lucky enough to borrow last week for a photo shoot and amazing Falke tights which I think will satisfy my suspender obsession. I love the Bebaroque tights styled with the playsuit too. Pay day please!

Money is an issue right now, so I am going to have to window shop via Polyvore for the rest of the month.



1. Polka Dot Sheer Tights, ASOS. I am on my second pair of these, they're so damned delicate. 2. Cycling Shorts. Ok I already have these too. I just need the sun to come out for long enough to raise the temperature. 3. Chain Necklace, Topshop. Still looking for chains (and some time) to recreate this myself. 4. Lace Body, Topshop. 5. The Mountain Wolf Tee, ASOS. 6. Denim Shirt, Topshop. This on is sold out but I'm stil looking for the perfect denim shirt. 7. Mini Pocket Tank, Alexander Wang. No further comment necessary. 8. 'Girl about town' lipstick, M.A.C. I stalked three shops on NYE to find it sold out everywhere. Finally bought it in Selfridges on Tuesday. 9. Lace Bandeau Bra, Urban Outfitters. 10. Something Pastel Shorts. I really want these in the pale blue rather than the grey. Maybe the grey too. 11. Bumblebee necklace, Alex Monroe. 12. Military Boots, All Saints. To be worn with all of the above.

SUSPENDED

Life is what happens when you stop using the internet, I swear. I've completely neglected this blog lately, in favour of shopping and going out in that order, repeat ad nauseam. I finally bought my All Saints military boots today and just when I felt inspired to take a photo, my camera promptly ran out of battery. Another time maybe, apparently it's going to be 15 degrees tomorrow.

I am obsessing about stockings and suspenders after seeing these pics of The Like on Knight Cat. Tried to order from ASOS last week but they missed them out of the order and now the ones I want are sold out! Annoyance.

I created this blog for the purpose of writing amongst other reasons, but I barely have time to think let alone write at the moment. Therefore, for the time being, pictures will have to suffice.
