LUELLA

Candy floss hair and strong lips @ Luella. I have yet to see the whole show, but I already know I'm going to love it!

NEW YORK

Alexander Wang always marks the beginning of Fashion Month for me, who can forget the orange bubble shorts, pink blazer and studded crop top combo from S/S 08? This year the man of the moment, once again did not disappoint. What excited me the most was the array of legwear on show - cut out, mock croc, studded and cropped leggings and CYCLING SHORTS. When I first heard at some point last year that cycling shorts were making their comeback I much to everyone around me's surprise/dismay, eagerly awaited them on the high street and I now have my pair tucked away in my wardrobe ready for the first day of summer weather. Everyone thought I was mad but now Wang has sent cycling shorts down the runway, I might not be the only one who dares to bare!

BEST OF BRITISH

You've all seen the covers by now, but what really makes this issue of iD is the editorials. It was so hard to pick just a couple of images for this post, there are so many fantastic images to choose from.

MOST COVETED

Sometimes you just have to buy. Even when you know that buying means facing fish fingers for dinner for the rest of the month. This jumper sold out on Topshop online in one day and by the time I got to Oxford Circus the following day, there were two left. I bought a size too big so I can (practically) get away with wearing it as a dress with opaques and therefore justify breaking the bank just a little more.

Now to find a way of justifying £150 for All Saints military boots. Try as I might I haven't found a suitable alternative that lends itself so well to my existing wardrobe as these boots do. Beans on toast next month then.

TEYANA

I just finished watching Pharell's latest protegé Teyana Taylor on MTV's My Super Sweet Sixteen. She can really dance (and sing), which is more than can be said for the usual brats that appear on that show, but it was her unique sense of style that caught my eye. I've been looking for something new to do with my hair and if I could get my hair to do this naturally I might even be tempted to stop using relaxer. Maybe.

UNIQUE

bodysuit 1bodysuit 2

A lot of the Topshop Unique collection is now online and I find myself inexplicably drawn to this bodysuit, as featured in March UK Vogue. I don't know how (or where) I'd ever wear it to do it the full justice it deserves. It would seem a shame to tuck it in or layer it with anything.

Speaking of March Vogue, how stunning is the editorial featuring Daria Werbowy and shot by Mario Testino? I was researching embellishment for work last week and this shoot could not be more relevant.

STYLIST

Thanks to snow day in London yesterday, I am now completely addicted to Looklet.com. An hour after I signed up I was still creating outfits. Who needs to shop?
