I've been running the social media for my new workplace which includes the Pinterest and Tumblr and it's got me right back into Tumblr again for myself.
Awesome. Because another way to distract myself online is exactly what I need right now. You can follow at hardtochase.tumblr.com.

DIP DYED
So my hairdresser of choice (Bleach London) being on the otherside of the world has meant I have had to take hair matters into my own hands, quite literally. I'm pretty sure I mentionned on here before the astronomical cost of Directions hair dye here (18 bucks!) so I've been trying to make the small bottle of crazy color I brought with me last as long as possible. I went the extra mile this time and did a little home bleaching job *hides face as hairdressers from here to England recoil at my irresponsibility*
I don't think I did too badly, if I do say so my self and my hair hasn't fallen out, winning!

GET OUT OF TOWN
This weekend I headed to a small town along the south coast called Kiama, about 2 hours train ride outside Sydney. The Winter weather seems to have turned a corner in the last week and Saturday was no exception with glorious blue skies and sunshine, which only added to the already beautiful setting.
I started off at Black Beach where the Saturday seaside markets were taking place full of fresh local produce and handmade goods. Sydney is pretty friendly, but I definitely felt the difference being in a small town, everyone wanted to say hello and comment on how great the weather was!
These boys were singing The Cure's 'Boys Don't Cry' when I arrived, they were awesome and the perfect backdrop.
The views from Blowhole Point and the lighthouse, are amazing as you are completely surrounded by sea.
In the distance behind me is Surf Beach which I didn't make it to, but I did go to Bombo Beach (below). I walked through a pretty residential area to get there and it was nice to finally see a bit of Australia that looks like the Australia I know from the soaps!!
Of course being in a seaside town, I couldn't not try the local fish, so I had Barramundi and Chips in the harbour which was as good as promised (though I thought I was going to have to share with a seagull at one point).
Finally I got gelato and spent my last hour or so reading Russh magazine, sitting by the water, which actually sparkled!

TORTOISESHELL
It mas a whopping 29 degrees in Sydney yesterday - the warmest August day in 17 years! So it got me thinking about Summer and sunglasses and then Mr Porter sent their newsletter and lead me to these beauties.

Two reasons to buy Russh this month - my homegirl Cara Delevigne on the cover and Montana Cox inside.

WINTER SUN
It reached a 'balmy' 20 degrees here in Sydney this weekend so I thought it was about time to break out the fruit print and dip my toes in the water!
