CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Christmas in July is a thing here. Apparently because it's so cold in July "it could be Christmas". (Except cold here is 18 degrees). No I don't get it either, but when in Rome...
When I was invited to my first Christmas in July party I was wondering where on earth I would find a Christmassy outfit in July (sad to say my "dressing up box" did not come with me to Oz). Luckily a scour on ASOS yielded this reindeer knitted skirt for a mere £12!

MARK MCNAIRY

I ummed and ahhhed over buying this Mark McNairy backpack before I left England and I'm so glad I bought it now! I get so many people over here asking me where I got it from and it's so handy for carting my camera around on the weekend or taking my gym stuff to work.

COOGEE TO BRONTE

Sundays are for hanging out in beautiful places and reminding yourself why you left the big smoke. Today I walked from along the coast from Coogee Beach to Bronte Beach, via Gordons Bay and Clovelly Beach. Perfect way to spend some QT and cleared my hangover a treat.

It's through my Sister's blog Fading Shades that I discovered the brand Tusk, but being from New Zealand they are just a little bit closer for me. Being on the other side of the world has its advantages. Not being a poor student like my Sister, also has it's advantages. Let's talk about how perfect these boots would look with that Ksubi dress.
