I meant to post about these ages ago but I was only reminded when I walked past them on a shelf at work the other day! Sadly they are not hitting down until June and I might just have left the country then. They might have to be my first overseas purchase.
(I'll stop with the trainers now before this becomes a trainer blog)

THE ONES THAT GOT AWAY
I bought these in the mint colour a couple of weeks ago. They didn't have my size so I bought a size smaller (which has worked for me in the past with trainers, especially high tops. It wasn't a complete shot in the dark!). I put them on at work as soon as they arrived and walked to the sample cupboard to test them out.
It was only when I started limping on my return that I conceded they would have to go back.
Now they are available in lilac but still not in my size. I can only conclude, these trainers were sent to taunt me and I'm never meant to own them.

NIKE x LIBERTY
I probably need to begin embracing forms of footwear that aren't trainers, but before that I need to own these.

VERSACE
A necessary part of moving is decluttering and I'm painstakingly making my way through a stack of magazines that can't come with me. There is no point tearing things out, because the tears can't really come with me either, so I might just instagram the things I want to remember.
Today I said goodbye to an old copy of Jalouse and this amazing silk shirt.

MONKI
Tash reminded me that I never blogged about the Monki launch party, to which I replied "er..I was busy deciding whether or not to move to the OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD".
But yeah, excuses aside I'm a bad blogger for not writing about this sooner. The party launched Monki's first UK standalone store, something many of us have been waiting with baited breath for. Prices so cheap you have to look twice, coupled with that coveted effortless Skandi style.
Here are a couple of images from the event..

MONTANA COX
I probably need to stop pretending that watching reruns of Australia's Next Top Model constitutes preparing for my move, but who can resist Montana's gorgeous face?

LEAVING ON A JET PLANE
So blogging has been coming second in the last couple of weeks as I take in some amazing news and begin preparations for a new life. It's official, two months today I will be flying to Sydney, Australia on a one way ticket! I've accepted a job with a fast fashion retailer over there where I'll be working with one of my really good friends. This could not have come at a better time for me and words cannot express how excited I am. Just think, sun, sea and sand and a brand new city to explore. London has given me an amazing 5 years, but its time for something new.
